This Week

This week we did lots of fun stuff. We took the kids to the funplex a couple of times to go swimming, Gracie had her 1st birthday, and we went up to the mountains and went hiking. We finally had some decent weather to get outside. Most of the time I have been in Colorado we have had stormy weather and hail. It has been nice to be outside. We spent a lot of time at the parks around town. The deployment is almost over!!! Glen gets home on Friday, so we are very excited!!!!

Qatar

I am doing two posts this week, so that I can put some pictures from Glen's trip to beautiful Doha on my blog. It is such a colorful area. I am just excited that he come home in 9 days. Yes I know that I all ready mentioned this in my other post!!!!! I will also post a blurry picture of his re enlistment.

Another Week

We actually did stuff this week. We took the kids down to Island Grove to see some friends show their cows. The kids haven't really seen cows too much, so the were pretty interested for the first little bit. They got to pet one of the cows, so they thought that was pretty cool. Jeremiah absolutely loves animals, and he was just so excited to get to pet the cow. I have pictures from Aaric's birthday too. He turned 7 last week, and we had a birthday party for him. He thought it was super exciting. He finally got his own MP3 player, and was so glad that he is finally old enough to have one of his own. He has been asking for one since Ashleigh got hers. He had most of his cousins over so we got a picture of them when they were over. We took the kids to the park today, and they had so much fun. All they did was play in the sand, they were so dirty when we got home, that they had to get another bath. They buried each other and built castles. Elly's favorite thing to do was to destroy everything, so the other kids, finally gave up trying to build elaborate castles and started building mountains for her to destroy instead. She had a great time running around and stomping out all of them. We have been trying to go swimming since we have been here, but for being summer we have not had weather good enough to go yet. Maybe this next week we will make it. Glen's re enlistment was this week. I have pictures, but they are too blurry. He also got to go into Doha this week. He went to a mall, and got to go out to dinner. He was very happy to eat something besides chow hall food. He comes home in 9 days, so that is also exciting. We are down to single digits finally.

I Don't Have A Title!

Today was Aaric's birthday, he turned 7. So we invaded Palomino's for dinner tonight. They were very excited, I'm sure. Chris and Sara, and Kyler and Shannon, and Mom and Dad, and most of the kids (all of mine) were there. Te'a and Elly had a lot of fun coloring, they were very excited to show the camera their pictures. Jayson and Aaric spent most of their time playing a game on their gameboy, and Ashleigh and Madelyn were playing the games on the kids menu. Aaric was super excited when they sang to him and brought him a special dessert (I'm not really sure he cared about the song, but he loved the dessert). He was also very happy that his Dad called to tell him Happy Birthday. He sure didn't say much to him, but he was very excited that his Dad remembered him. We really didn't do a whole lot this week, the kids helped Grandpa put his garden in. They were very helpful for the first little while. Mostly we just hung out. The kids were having fun seeing their cousins, since we they don't get to see very often. Maybe next week, I will do something exciting.
